Annual Preparedness Fair
Do you and your family know how to prepare for a disaster or an emergency? The Maury County Office of Emergency Management can provide you with the information on how to do just that!
In today’s world, a weather emergency, disaster, or threat can be just around the corner. It’s up to us as citizens to be prepared for such an event. Knowledge is power and while we can’t stop a natural disaster such as a flood or tornado, or often can’t prevent a hazardous spill or terrorist threat, we can be better prepared to help mitigate such circumstances. Each Spring, OEM organizes and puts together a Preparedness Fair, at the Columbia Mall, that allows citizens to gather information, ask questions, and even tour the various kinds of equipment that OEM utilizes.
